Sanford Veterinary Clinic has been declared an Essential Service during the COVID-19 crisis and will remain open.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding at this time. We want to ensure the health and safety of all of our clients and our staff.
- UPDATE- On-line booking system is now available.
- Opening hours may change. ie We may may only be open 6 days per week not 7. Please ring or check our facebook page.
- When calling to make your appointments, staff may ask you if you're unwell, if you have travelled recently or have been in contact with someone who has. This is to help protect other clients and our staff.
- We ask that when you arrive at the clinic, please wait and call from your car and our receptionist will advise you on what to do next. This will help minimise overcrowding in our waiting area.
- Please have only have 1 person per pet coming along to the clinic. This will help everyone feel comfortable with the new social distancing law.
- We have facilities for you to be able to wash your hands once you arrive at the clinic and we encourage you to use our hand sanitiser that's provided to you in the reception area and consult rooms. All surfaces and door handles are routinely disinfected.
- Medications, food, flea treatments, products etc: If you call in advance, pay via bank transfer and then once you arrive at the clinic our staff can bring your supplies to your car. We also have a remote EFTPOS machine for payment. We would like to minimise cash payments so please try to use your card.
- Please don't be offended if any of our staff are wearing gloves and a mask at the time of your visit. This is for your safety and ours.

We understand that you lead busy lives so we are open extended hours 6 days a week for your convenience. 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 12noon Saturday. Easy parking and friendy service. From pet food to pet care products, consults by appointment. -
Desexing
Desexing is highly recommended, and is a very safe, routine surgical procedure that offers many benefits for your pets health. Desexed pets are far less likely to display anti-social or destructive behaviours. They are also less likely to develop a number of dangerous medical conditions. Give us a call and discuss it with our friendly staff. -
